Will sub frame connectors help prevent wheel spin??
Will sub frame connectors help prevent wheel spin??
I am spinning my Mickey Thompson ET street slicks right out of the hole. So my question is, will sub frame connectors improve my 60' times and prevent wheel spin? What else are they good for besides keeping the body from twisting? Handling? Thanks in advance.

sure they'll help as will boxing the LCAs and panhard rod, relocate the LCAs, use air bags in the springs, drag shocks, drag struts, and removing the front sway bar.

Don't remove the front sway bar, it only works when the car is swaying. All that does is take weight off of the front end. Grease the bushings if you really want to.

i dont really think that SFC's will help traction all that much (or at all). the best thing to do would be to get drag springs, shocks, some LCA relocation brackets, a torque arm if you dont already have one, some aftermarket adjustable control arms and some better slicks maybe, like MT regular slicks instead of street slicks or maybe a wider tire.

one more thing, the best thing to do to keep the chassis from flexing is to put in a roll cage that is tied into the frame. we got a guy in the MFBA running 9's without SFC's, just a heavily welded in cage.
