GTA Rims TOO small for BEAR BRAKES??

A member wants to upgrade his rear (87`GTA)
with a bear kit! several posts stated the GTA rim is too small! Did anybody order a smaller reardisc 12 instead of 13" to keep the GTA rim?
In some posts people cut the caliper fins to make space....?
Pls only bear kit owners!
Also of intresst the shipping rates!

The 12" rotor should fit.

Baer will snail mail you or fax you a template so you can check yourself.

Well Tom Keiler got BAERs and saved his stock formula rims for drag racing. so I guess they would fit if you got the same kit as him. There might be a higher kit that won't allow 16s
