Hi, once I get over 50mph my car shakes. I read an article somewhere that said, if the vibration is speed specific, then it is a tire. My tires are no good. I took the worst one off, and put the spare on the ground. Rotated the other tires. Didn,t seem to change the vibration any. I know one of the other tires on the ground is out-of-round, but I am running out of tires. I thought about swapping a tire off my wife,s car, but she let me know, that she didn,t like that idea. I jacked up the front end and checked the bearings and steering linkages, couldn,t find anything wrong. That does sound like a tire problem, doesn,t it? thanks

 

Definately sounds like a tire problem!

Could be a few other things including a bent rim, but I'd get some new tires on the car to see if it fixes the problem.

From the sounds of it, I think you could use a set of new tires.
