eibach is gonna get a piece of my mind
I just bought an eibach pro kit because i wanted to get a lower stance on my car. I didnt want to go too low because this is my daily driver. so i decided to go with the eibach pro kit. i figured the sportlines would be too low. well i measure the bottom of the ground effects, front and back, my front was 5 and 3/4" and my back was 6 and 1/4". After installing the pro kit(it is supposed to lower the car 1 to 1 and 1/2" all of the way around) my car now sits at 6 inches in the front(A 1/4" HIGHER!?!?!?!) and 6 inches in the rear. I am very diappointed with this kit. Has anyone had any similar experience with this kit? Or is there a chance that i did something wrong? I know the springs are installed correctly. Eibach says that their srpings are made NOT to compress more over time. If this is true i will be selling an eibach pro kit, brand new, for about 75% of what i paid. Let me know if anyone has a similar experience or knows something that could be wrong here.
thanks

Are you sure you installed the front springs in the pockets right? There is a sloped seat that the spring end sits in, such that the end of the spring wire is between two drain holes in the lower control arm.
It's easy to miss, and will cause the car to sit higher. Go 'head, ask me how I know... :-)

It's not hard to get the front springs wrong. When I first swapped mine I had the same situation. I joked that it looked like a "Clown Car". After two attempts to get the tops of the springs to seat properly in the pockets I gave up and had Goodyear do it. I am very happy with the Eibach Pro-Kit springs.

Also make sure you have the flat end of the spring on top, with the rubber isolator pad taped to the spring so it stays in place during installation.
