Does anyone make lowering springs that aren't stiffer than stock springs?

I am looking for a spring that is lower but not stiffer. Every time I read an advertisement they claim stiffer. I don't want stiffer for drag racing. I want to make sure there is weight transfer.

I know of the drag launch kit but will that be good to drive all the time? Oh, Is the drag launch kit lower than stock?

I am sure you could have a custom set of springs wound, but choosing the wrong spring rates can be detrimental to the overall performance. Most lowering springs are stiffer for multiple reasons, but one is to keep the car from bottoming out since everything is closer to the ground.

Maybe I can help with some of your questions.

Pretty much every lowering spring has to be stiffer. Or have a progressive rate that ends up being quite a bit stiffer as it is compressed. It's all a matter of keeping you from hitting the bump stops every time you encounter a minor road bump.

Weight transfer happens regardless of spring rate. What is different is that with stiffer springs, there is less visible evidence (less squat, roll, nose lift/dive).
