over weight

i just put a new sound system in my car and the guy i baught it off of said that it wore out the springs of his car when he used it. do you guys think i should worry about this?
it weighs about 90lbs. and is in the backseat

nah. Even if that were true, you could replace the rear springs in a matter of 30 minutes...

Springs don't really wear, they age. The extra weight may lower the rear end, but it doesn't hurt the springs.

Custom 3 inch single into 2 2.5 pipes. 1 1/2 drop springs, 1 5/16 solid front sway bar, 1 inch rear bar, custom subframe connectors, custom LCA relocation brackets. Kobel ground FX, currant red metallic paint. Lots of other stuff...

Fat chicks in the back seat are heavier than that. Just go buy a new set of springs. They're probably just old and have lost their spring rate.
