Clicking noise

Whenever I have to step on the brakes all the way like when coming to a stop, I hear a click. But if I slowly step on the brakes I don't hear it. Is this normal? What should I look for?

Just one click? Or a series of them?
If it's just one when you first apply the brakes, I'd say you might have a caliper not sliding freely. Take out the 2 bolts that hold on the calipers and apply some high temp grease to the wear points.

88 IROC with cobbled together (not by me)drivetrain, 86 (?) TPI unit on an '83 305,CE subframe connectors, Edelbrock strut tower brace, polygraphite bushings all around...it handles like a dream, but man is it hard to push!!
