lower or raise???
lower or raise???
I want it to look like it has a raised rear end. whick is better to do-first of all they make a piece that you put on your coil springs and it can either raise it or lower it. the Q is, Is it alright to lower the front, or should I raise the rear. or should I even do it at all. will it look good if I lower the front, anyone ever do this.

personally i went to 275/60/15's on my rear wheels, and 235/60/15's on the front, and there is definitely a noticable "rake" effect with the back up higher then the front. yeah it looks mean and all, but i cant begin to explain how terribly it handles. around corners my tires almost always break loose, and when i try and launch i totally go to one side or the other. different size tires are one way of making the back sit higher though.
I thought about bigger tires, but my brother did that on his 79 monte carlo and every bump he hit the tire would hit the fender and it tore the crap out of the tire. Then he got thoses spacer things that go into your coil spring and it was fixed.

Don't jack up the rear of your car. That look is not only a very toolish look, it is very detrimental to your handling and any attempt at getting good traction......
