What do I need suspension-wise to get low 12s, high 11s????

I'm upgrading my motor to about 400 horsepower, and I've got a 2200 stall speed converter, a 700R4 tranny, and a 3.42 posi rear end. So, what should I do to get good 60' times and get a low 12 or high 11 ET? Will sub-frame connectors, adjustable torque arm, adjustable lower control arms, a lower control arm relocation kit, and 90/10 drag shocks do the trick? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

you better lose a lot of weight or gain a lot of HP, 400 won't get you there. if you're serious i'd go with a 9" and box everything i could, run SFCs, air bags, LCAs, and if you stay with the 10 bolt run a girddle.

I run stock springs. 1.9 60 ft. lakewood lcas, and a jegster arm. 255 drag radials

You be the judge on what you need from what I have done and what mine runs.

Car's gotta go on a wieght loss program. Higher stall conveter, and more traction.
Gonna have to leave hard, and should get you to the low 12's with the stuff you have listed, but your gonna need some 3.73's more than likely and a converter aorund 3000.

To get into the 11's on 400hp you need it to launch real hard, and use all the ponies the whole track... ie taking advantage of gearing.. and having the car Light. Like 3200lbs or so... you could tickle the high 11's with cheaters on a 10 bolt
slicks will help but shatter the rear, if your launching hard enough to get legitimately into the 11's, no NOS

Edit : Just saw your from Il.
Don't know your elevation, if your altitude is up there your gonna need a lot more to get there on a timeslip... with no correction

I'm speakin from the ATco area.. 48feet above sea level

Some day I'd love to race at sea level just to see how fast the car can really run. Maybe I'll get to Mission BC next year. I want to see uncorrected 10's!
