Shocks and Struts
So i've been researching the possible different kinds of shock/struts i can buy for my car. Everything from Tokico, Monroe, Koni, KYB etc. Seeing as how I dont want to spend a ton of money, it looks like my option would be the KYB. Most like the GR2's in the front then the gas-a-just ones in the back. is there seriously a noticeable difference in ride quality and handling between these and the Koni yellows? lemme know cause its a big price difference between the two and i want some evidence and yes.....ive been researching. regards.

Go with the KYB's and don't break the bank with Koni's. On a street driven car there will not be that much difference, I do have the GR-2 & gas/adj set up and they work for me

I run the same combo and an eibach pro kit. I love the way it rides and handles. I have rode in a 4th gen with koni's, although they are different cars, I really didnt notice much of a difference between his and mine.

Yes my car is my DD and its street drive A LOT....kinda live a little distance from school, so ride comfort and quality is the best. Ive been researching and thinking the way to go is going to be the GR2's and the gas-a-just. But does this drastically take away from my cars potential to handle well if i decide to run a canyon for fun (there are a lot of canyons near my house). But as for cost aswell, this is probably the best price too because I can get away with spendng hopefully under 200 for these instead of 700-800 for koni's. Also, should i be buying the eibach's at the same time when buying the shocks or could i wait awhile? Regards.

Why arent springs an issue? I know there's some crazy formula for figuring out spring rate and blah blah blah but i wouldn't miind having my car lowered. Plus, im getting the spohn rebuildable front end kit with moog lower ball joint, spohn a arms and the sway bar package. After that my suspension should be pretty much done dont you think?

Re: Shocks and Struts
IMO springs make a HUGE dfference to ANY worn-out old car. But that's just that, my opinion.
If you lower your car and expect it to launch without wheel hop, you'll need LCARBs.
