Re: 91 camaro torque arm re-location bracket??

I am actually considering the same kit. I have way less then 400 hp with my car and am having problems with the stock torque arm mounting to the transmission extension housing. I have already damaged the the threads in the extension housing where the bolt that secures the torque arm is secured. I would hate to do any more damage to the tail housing of the transmission. I would be very interested to know what other people's experience is.

its not needed in my opinion... 4th gen ls1 cars have the same factory setup as ours and most midily buit cars are over 400 hp without that peice... really not needed for a daily driver.... i had one and hated it and sold it.... caused many vibrations..... here is my write up on the bmr piece... https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/susp...mber-alot.html
