Is their anyway to tell when your drag link is worn or needs replaced?

My car feels loose in front. It has new struts, mounts, idler arm, ball joints, and I just checked the bearings today. What could it be.

Thats a good one... Centerlinks go bad all the time. They have one "wear" joint that wears out. The joint that connects the centerlink to the pitman arm, check it. With the full weight of the car on the ground, slide underneath and have someone move the wheel back and forth. Make sure the centerlink moves right with the pitman arm. Inner/outer tie rods, rag-joint, and steering box are some other places to check.

------------------
350 with stealth intake, holley carb, 470 lift cam. 700r4 with .5 boost valve, vette servo, tci lock-up kit, B&M megashifter. Richmond 3.73 gears, powertrax locker, timkin bearings, synthetic lube. Custom 3 inch single into 2 2.5 pipes. 1 1/2 drop springs, 1 5/16 solid front sway bar, 1 inch rear bar, custom subframe connectors, custom LCA relocation brackets. Kobel ground FX, currant red metallic paint. Lots of other stuff...

you didnt mention tie rods so it could be that, i just replaced the center link on my 68' and its over 32 years old and it was still fine! only problem was i knocked one of the threads with a hammer and couldnt get the nut back on so had to get a new bar. they very seldomly go bad
