boxed or tubular LCAs?
boxed or tubular LCAs?
Which kind are better for street driving?
If tubular, should I get mild steel or chrome-moly? At a difference of only $20, I'll get the better product. I want to make my suspension as good as I can (within reason as far as $$ goes). Spohn doesn't even have a boxed version, but several other companies do. What do you make of this?

There isn't a huge difference flexwise between square or round tubing but square is slightly stiffer (=good) given the same wall thickness, but there is more material there which means they are slightly heavier (=bad).
Chromoly is stronger so you can use thinner wall tubing and get the same or better strength than mild steel with less weight (=good).

. I am either getting spohn or bmr, depending on where I can get a better price.
I was just wondering about what kind/material.
Thanks, tas.</font>

I have the Spohn chrome-moly non-adjustable LCA's and Panhard bar and they are great and you cant beat the workmanship.
