If I were to buy Spohns adjustable LCAs how would I know when/why/which way to adjust them? I think I am going to get some of his LCAs and would like to get the adjustable ones.

read the instructions that comes with them, you might alos take a look at his web site. basically you use an angle finder to find and set the pinion angle.
