what # spring and length for front coilover
I have an 84 firebird with a sbc and aluminum heads. I have recently bought a tubular k member and coilover kits and was wondering what pound springrate and how long the spring should be. This is primarily a drag car and i want to know what is ideal. My car currently goes 11.70s in the quarter with a 1.70 60ft time. All i have in there now is worn out struts and 6 cylinder springs. The overall weight of the car with me in it is 3280. Thanks for the info!

I'm running 12" and 170 pound springs, you may need heavier if your car isn't as light in the front as mine. Strange sells some really nice springs, I'd give them a call and check on it, or racecraft, I just bought their front coilover setup....really nice.
