anybody relocate spring cup on Moser 9 in. 3rd gen rear on top housing tube
I want to know if there is a benefit / wrong in moving the spring locator cups on my Moser 3rd gen rear from the stock position forwards to directly on top the housing tubes
My springs appear to angle backwards from the body location to the stock position spring cup on the rear end when the car sits
would they react and respond quicker being directly straight up
I can see it may raise the height of the back of car slightly if the cup is moved forward and up onto the housing
However I have a lower rate spring I was recommended to use (some "blue ???" name brand spring from the circle track world) and its about an inch and a half shorter that my current stock springs - so the relocation/raised height issue may even out
what do you think - has anybody done this ?? is it a good mod??
Thanks
