S.T.B. , INSTALL ???

O.K. , i have installed STB's in a couple of other camaro's i have owned . i like the edelbrock ones . that's what i am going to install now . my question is , should i install with weight on or off the front wheels ? my previous installs were with weight on . i have wondered if it might be better with weight off . i have a 4 point lift that i use so thats not a problem . any thoughts on this ??? thank's for your thoughts .

Weight on, Uncle. Get one of your cute young things to help out and the process will be much more enjoyable!

Re: S.T.B. , INSTALL ???

i actually installed mine with the front end jacked up a little, so when it sat back on the ground, the bar had a little preload in it. Not really sure if it helps or not, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.

That does make some sense. I would probably do it with the weight on.
