Indexing position of front coil spring?

Does the end of the coil sit over the two holes and stop at the notch just after them on the A-arm? There appears to be a smaller notch in front of the two holes and when placing the spring there the spring sits perpendicular to the arm as opposed to the notch after which makes the spring sit at an angle, all on the bench of course.

Re: Indexing position of front coil spring?

End of coil goes between the 2 holes. Cover one, leave one exposed.
