Cut front spring - something doesn't look right
Hey guys, just cut some front ws6 springs in prep to have them fitted. These were low milers from a reliable source from a 1992 Car.
I went for the 1 full coil logic to approximately maintain spring force and with utilising rear isolators to make up some height.
I attach some pics - what I notice is with one coil lobbed off, the remaining platform isn't flat, but wound - if I can explain that properly - pics attached. As a result the isolator doesn't fully sit flush.
Now, would this be the case that when the weight of the car is applied the isolator will be pushed flat with the spring and all will be good?
Thoughts welcome - oh and btw no biggie if I've totally f%Łked things up - as noted there's were some acquired springs and my car is still riding on the originals and all is safe (if a little 4X4)
cheers peeps

No need to worry that the last coil isn't "flat". I've cut coils before, popped them right in & had no problems afterwards. Once you put weight on them from the car, it'll "flatten out". Not that it'll stay flat if you took them out later, but the resulting compression will give the same results.

thanks man - yeah thought it'd flatten with the weight of the car
I'll be sure to put some pics up when I've fitted them - a full coil on ws6 springs- better renew my dental!

Both sets I cut in the past were WS6 springs too. 1 daily driver car, 1 "street legal" autocross car.
1 full coil front, 3/4 coil in the rear. Very happy with the results too.
