Handling on Road Course

What are the g's of the stock third generation Camaro Z-28?

I'm going to build my car for some serious handling, and want to know some baselines.

Re: Handling on Road Course

Close.
The stock RS and base models (smaller tires) were tested @ 0.82 g, the IROC´s/Z28´s mostly due to wider tires around 0,90 g.

Ackerman Steering Geometry
is what you are looking for, this is the theory used no car will be perfect for all situations you will want to use this as the start, but in the end it is how you like the way it feels on the course.

have fun!!

Re: Handling on Road Course

I've read that in some tests, they were able to get 0.92 g's out of the IROC back in the day. One of the members that used to be on here (Vetruck) got 1.07 g's with a heavily modified suspension on his 92 V6 camaro.. So it is possible to make these cars handle extremely well.
