Very weird situation. I put a set of 17" C6 wheels on my 1982 Camaro. I have 2" adapters on there and the passenger side tie rod hits on the wheel, but not the driver side. They look to have different outer tie rods, but I can't find the same drivers side tie rod online. I have grinded down the tie rod on the passenger side, but do not want to do it too much. Does anyone know of any aftermarket outer tie rods that would work? I don't want to added any additional spacers.

 

OK, believe it or not, I ran into a similar issue. Ordered inner and outer tie rods, from JEG's. One set, I believe it was the outer ones, came looking well ... not alike at all. Two tie rods, both completely different, but both in MOOG packaging. Rather than trusting that at least ONE of them was the correct one, I said to hell with it and bought two new ones from Napa.
