Just an FYI: On our cars, there's the track bar (panhard) and above it, the trace bar brace.

Yes, do not drive till that is replaced, very dangerous, that part is what locates your rear end to prevent lateral movement. Basically your whole rear end can slide back and forth sideways without that part. If you ever had any kind of toy car where the rear axle was loose and slid around a lot, that's basically whats going on with your camaro, lol...

sorry i took kind of long to reply but thank you guys it was very helpful got the part yesterday im replace it tonight ....and i know what you mean it slides back and forth and sideway it broke while i was on a highway kinda scary when it happen...
