Stock IROC or Eibach sway/stabiliser bars
I've got a 1988 IROC, which has the best of the factory sway bars.
Would there be any benefit of from replacing these with the Eibach sway (stabiliser) bars?
The stock sway bars seem on ok condition, although the rubber insulators need to be replaced.
I have a set of Eibach Pro-kit Pro-kit lowering springs and apparently the Eibach sway bars are "tuned" to work with these.
Anyone here have experience with the Eibach stuff?

The is little reason to use aftermarket bars unless they offer a size not available stock. You would see benifits from new mount bushings and endlinks.

^^^ Agree with the above.
Sway bars being "tuned" is a fancy way of advertising brand name. Sort of like saying AC Delco spark plugs are "tuned" for GM engines.
Some poly bushings and end links would make a nice improvement. Money well spent.

Thanks for the tips. I'll just get a set of poly urethane bushings.
Will put the money saved on sway bars towards a brake upgrade.
