Spindle

I am trying to find a set of new spindles for my car. I cant find factory spindles but I have been looking and searching, and it appears the spindles on the 88 monte carlo are the same as the 88 trans am. The spindle I found is from jegs, part # 555-64015. I was wondering if it would fit correctly with factory tie rods, a arms and ball joints and factory 1 piston brakes on the Trans Am. thanks

I'm unfamiliar with Monte Carlos, but the thirdgen strut bolts to the spindle. There doesn't seem to be provision for that on the above part number--at least in a manner that would fit a thirdgen.

There are pics of the thirdgen spindle in the following link for reference/comparison:

The bone yards are full of thirdgens. Why not a good used piece(s)?

Re: Spindle

I pulled my own from the junk yard, about $35 apiece. Had the rotors still mounted which I had turned down into hubs for C5 brakes
