4th gen steering column

There isn't much solid info on the boards regarding swapping in a 4th gen column. The column bolts up just fine, and all the connectors are the same. The major difference is the shaft sticks out further at the firewall than a 3rd gen and is 90* off. To compensate for this you can install an astro van steering shaft which is also 90* off. Direct bolt in no modification required. I used one off a 98 with no steering damper if it makes a difference. So in case anyone was wondering, now you know!
