Re: installing LCARB's

Jack up the back of the car, support it just in front of where the LCAs mount. Unbolt the rear part of the LCA and pop it out. Swing it out of the way. Put the LCARB in place, make sure its aligned properly. Weld. Reinstall LCA. Repeat for the other side.

It's pretty simple, nothing to be worried about.

Re: installing LCARB's

Be sure to only drop the LCA where it attaches to the rear; loosen, but leave the front on. Bolt the LCARB in place loosely, fit the LCA into it and slide a bolt through to hold it in place. Make sure the LCARB is tight up against the rear housing bracket, tighten the upper bolt so that the LCARB can't move; drop the LCA out and double check that it goes back in easily and aligns itself with the bolt hole; place LCA back into LCARB and insert bolt. Tack weld LCARB to housing bracket; double check (again) that the LCA still goes in and out easily; then completely weld everywhere the metal of the LCARB touches the housing. Leave uppermost bolt and spacer shaft in LCARB for strength, otherwise it wants to collapse a little. And you're done! It took me an afternoon to do mine, but I was being hella careful. Good Luck

Re: installing LCARB's

no, AAMOF, don't reconnect them to the lcarb till you get it welded. Most you just put the through bolt and sleeve in and hold the brackets back as far as they well go and weld, then bolt the LCA back in whatever hole you want to use.

Re: installing LCARB's

or you can get the bolt in brackets, bolt them together and go, and you have the option to weld them if you want to.
