Koni yellow quetion

I just received my new Koni yellows and the rears came with a mounting stud for the bottom mount that looks like it wound make contact with rear end.

Should I knock it out and use the stock mounting stud?

Has anyone come accross this before? Thanks in advance..Steve

Fit fine in my '91 TA. Easy in and out with no clearance problems. Just put them in 2 months ago.

You want the studs to contact the rear end.... otherwise what's the point?

Re: Koni yellow quetion

stock has a bolt going through the rear and the shock. The konis should have a bolt pressed into the shocks. Just line it up and slide that puppy through the rear and crank her down. Be careful if you have LCARBs because when you push the stud through both holes you can mess up the threads a bit. I did on mine but still all good.

Re: Koni yellow quetion

Sorry to take so long in responding to what I found, I havn't been online for a while. And the answer is.....old age can s**k at times. I was looking at the factory studs which were off the rear backwards.

As stated by all those who responded..they fit just fine. Next time I'll wear my newly aqquired glasses. Thanks Everyone, Steve.
