Re: k member swap
Depends on what you have for tools and how complete the one your swapping in is... I have done them dropping the whole stock Assembly... 2 engine mount bolts... 6 bolts on the k... 2 bolts for the k supports... pop 2 outer tie rods off the spindle... (I never pulled the springs, but id recommended it if your worried or have never done this) unbolt the 2 strut on the top of the camber/caster plate... and unbolt the brake lines... wall-la i think this job could be done in less then 45mins if you are swamping out and in new stuff... if your swapping parts over its going to take longer... id say an average estimate is 2 to 3 to 5 hours tops for most people...
Re: k member swap
sounds simple enough...the motor is also already out the car so it should be pretty easy to do...i most likely using the stock suspension for now until i get enough up for the new a arms and all

Re: k member swap
I would wait until you could do the arms too, That way you can just swap over your springs and struts and just roll the new K-member and a arms into place.
Re: k member swap
if the motor in the car does it make that much harder...i have a tripod so i can just lift the motor up a little bit rather then have a hoist in the way under the car. Waiting seems like a better idea to have it all new at once. Thanks for input

Re: k member swap
Also, if you have the room, you could always pre-assemble everything to the K-member (motor, wheels, ect) and lower the car down onto it. Just another suggestion.
