Want to raise the front ride height of 88 camaro

Hello I want to raise the front ride height of my camaro. Partial due to dragging the front lip when I try to go up a steep hill and partial due to my exhaust hangs a little lower than stock ( bigger pipes). But I don't really like the look of a low muscle car. I'm thinking maybe newer stiffer springs ( struts were just replaced ). Any suggestions. I want to go up about 1-2.5 inches. And don't worry about the rear of the car being lower. I installed air shocks and raised the car about three inches. Now I know that my tiny tires aren't helping ride height and I'm going to change them too. I think they are like 195 60 15. Yeah. Tiny. Any advice would be great

moog iroc springs are pretty cheap and in most cases raire peoples cars well over 1-2". That would be something to look into.

lose the air shocks, they are bad news and you will destroy the upper shock mounts with them. use a taller spring or a spacer for the spring to raise the height if needed.

Will the springs eventually sag though due to the break-in period or is that after they are broken in? Thanks for the input, I will lose air shocks eventually, just needed something quick to get my *** end off the ground. But I did re-enforce the shock mounts to accommodate the added stress. Again, thank you very much for your fast response!

springs dont sag in anything close to a short period, after install, once they settle, thats about it for years and years and years. I would need a pic of you car to know where yours sits currently, but i had the moog springs in my 86 years back and it looked like 4x4

You could just pull into places at an angle and be fine. I have had some slammed cars and did this and in most cases never scrapped. Lifting a car never looks good.

This won't work because it's going to be a daily driver. And it's all on preference. I like the look of taller muscle cars. Never been a fan of lowering

Hmmm that is already extremely high. I don't think the normal replacement springs are going to work for you.

Park the car on a flat hard surface and measure the distance from the ground to the top of the fender cut out. That will give us a place to start. Stock is around 27-28".
