if you are just trying to make the car road worthy, there are better things to do first. Tires, shocks struts, brakes, and balljoints. You will see more of an inprovement in the car with those pieces in good working order. They you can think about shiny parts.

Dont worry about those parts right now. Get the car running the way it should be running and then you can go and change things out. Then you will be able to see the difference that those parts make on the handling of your car.

That's fine, but what about the condition of the shocs and struts? The steering linkages and the front bal joints? If they have not been serviced in the time you have owned the car, chances are they need attention.

Fwiw, don't bother with rear suspension parts with poly bushings, they are actually a bit oof a downgrade from stock and introduce significant bind into the suspension that the stock rubber bushings don't.

They really help the car handle better. Your going from a bent piece of metal to a solid tube. If you can find a good deal on them go for it. I got my LCA's and Panhard for $150 for a non adjustable set.
