While randomly browsing Tokico's website, I stumbled across something so irresistible that I pulled out my Amex and spent a completely unplanned $309 (Shipping included).

All 4 corners shock/spring kit in HP's ($241 + shipping)
http://www.tokicoperformanceshocks.c...-tohpk207.aspx

Or Illuminas ($362 + shipping)
http://www.tokicoperformanceshocks.c...-toilk208.aspx

They also have the front Illumina struts on sale for $109 each
http://www.tokicoperformanceshocks.c...001-front.aspx

Doing a bit of reading on these springs appear they have similar ride quality to the Eibach pro kit and lower your car by 1.2"

Don't know how long this will last.

Yes. You can see for yourself by going to the main tokico page, entering your year, make and model then clicking the 70% off link under that.

Re: CRACKHEAD DEAL! Tokico Shock/Spring Kits
There was a thread here saying these shocks/struts were discontinued, so this seems like a clearance sale to clear out the rest of the inventory

That makes sense. However, I have no problem spending a miniscule amount of money for a quality product whether it be discontinued or not

I agree. I was going to go with weightjacks, but at that price I had to change my mind. If these last me 2-3 years, then I feel I have gotten my moneys worth.

From the research I have done on Tokico shocks, they should last you more than 2-3 years. Far superior to replacements such as Gabriel/Monroe and a step ahead of KYB. Tokico is like the cheap alternative to Bilstein/Koni.

Re: CRACKHEAD DEAL! Tokico Shock/Spring Kits
I want to lower about 1" from stock. Which would you go with? I see the estimates but it goes from. .75-1.85 or .5-1.75 those are huge differences. 1.85 is too much and. 5 is too little. Which to go with?

Holy crap! That is too good of a deal to pass-up on. I'm in.

They have a limited lifetime warranty, so I don't see how you can go wrong.

Re: CRACKHEAD DEAL! Tokico Shock/Spring Kits
Definitely worth the money IMO compared to other shocks/struts available for lowered cars. I don't believe they have a limited lifetime warranty any more though.

Re: CRACKHEAD DEAL! Tokico Shock/Spring Kits
My order got messed up. I payed with paypal and it didn't tell them what I ordered, just that I paid. So I told him what I ordered and he pulled it aside for me and held it for me luckily. He sent me the receipt and asked me to verify it before he shipped them out. Good customer service so far!
