Which Johnny Joints for RLCA's?

I did some searching but couldnt find anything. I got a set of UMI rear lca's with Poly bushings. I bought them when the car was just set up for drag so I wasnt concerned about bind. Now I'm building it for AutoX and want to swich to Johnny Joints.

Anyone know what size will fit?

Have you checked our Roto-Joint lowers?

I don't see much reason to re-use the old tubes. You'd probably be much better off financially and functionally by selling the old arms and building your own arms.

4x Spohn Del-Sphere joints = $146 + s&h
2x 15" adjustable hex/swage tube (afco, lefthander, allstar, ect..) = $25 + s&h.

You can probably sell your old ones for $50 or more.

You could also use the UMI Roto Joints but are a few dollars more each.

maybe I don't understand this post right... if you have the poly LCA's you need to buy a whole new LCA bar if you want rotos (tube is not threaded). The poly ends are built onto the LCA and cannot come off for roto replacement (unless you have single adj or plan to mod).

If your going to make your own LCA tubes, just buy the UMI rotos... but for a few extra dollars, why the hassle with fabbing anything?

I have UMI dbl adj roto PHB and LCA btw.

A few extra dollars??? UMI's roto ended LCA's are $250. My solution is $175 and takes 15 seconds to assemble. No fab required. Buy four Del-Sphere / Roto ends buy two 15" threaded hex / swage tubes and screw together.

Will these work for tubes? I saw J&M had aluminum LCA's and liked the thought since my car will be mostly track. It says in the description there used for steering or trailing arms.

I think I need the $51 set from spohn, they come with the spacers to fit in the LCA mount. For $36.5 you get just the joint which would be to skinny to fit in the mount.

Yeah good catch. Bummer it adds so much to the price.

Re: Which Johnny Joints for RLCA's?

Yeah but even for $232 I'd be getting full adjustable aluminum LCA's. J&M's are only about $198 but they just use rod ends. Just gotta make a decision.
