What are all the parts to steering linkage?

So I was looking to change out my steering linkage. I did a search and seems that everyone prefers to go Moog. So I will do the same. Now I guess Moog doesn't sell it as a set, so I think I have to purchase each part individually. Unless anyone has a link to a full set for sale. The only other full set I can find is PST on ebay. Any other brands out there that are fairly good? I figure Moog is top of the line and I guess very expensive too. So I'm kind of working on a budget. If worse comes to worst I'll just get Moog.

Re: What are all the parts to steering linkage?

Ok I copied off of the ebay of PST of what parts I need. These are all Moog parts 2 Idler Arms Part#k6249 (Are they universal to both sides? Do I need to order a left and right side because on Advance auto parts only has 1 choice) 2 Tie rod ends inner Part# ES2226RL (same question as the idler arms?) 2 Tie rod ends outer Part# ES2227RL (again universal?) Center Link Part# DS1049 and 2 Adjusting Sleeves (same question) With coupons and everything it comes out to roughly 350$ for all of it.

There's only 1 idler arm, on the passenger side. The driver's side has a pitman arm on the steering box.

Ok I can't find the pitman arm, how necessary is it to change that when I'm changing everything else out new?

It's not necessary to change any of it, unless it's worn out.

I don't think you need to change the pit-man arm, I never have.

Re: What are all the parts to steering linkage?

The pitman arm is just a dumb lump of cast iron, there's no joints in it.

Re: What are all the parts to steering linkage?

My steering is very loose, this is why I want to change it. It still has the original one. So what else might not need changing? What are the important ones to change?

Re: What are all the parts to steering linkage?

Quick question hope someone can answer ASAP so I can order for tomorrow. I ordered all the parts above. Do I need to purchase ball joints too??? If so I just need two lower ball joints?

Re: What are all the parts to steering linkage?

If someone can correct me. I think the new tie rods come with the ball joints already?
