REAR COIL OVERS

Has anyone installed a rear coil over kit with the stock sumped gas tank? If so do you have any pics? I have a 9" under my car and want to put coilovers on it but thinking I may have to get rid of the tank but dont want to.

why would the sump be in the way? coilovers are no where near the sump. I run the wolfe racecraft rear springs and they use the 2.5" diameter springs with new spring pockets up top.

So you run coilovers in the stock location? I was talking about the kits you can order that uss the qa1 shocks. It appears that I wont have any room with the tank in the way for the top mount bar that goes from frame to frame

those kits are intended for a tube chassis or a backhalved car. Not going to work for you.

if you want coilovers, put them in the stock location.

Re: REAR COIL OVERS

I went to wolfe racecraft site. may I ask what all did you use as far as shocks? And how did you mount your shocks in the spring perches? Just a little confused on how they bolt in. And thanks, was unaware of the availabilty to use coil overs in the stock perches. much appreciated
