Bringing front end down/ Lowering entire car?

I got some questions regarding my suspension now. Put in an all aluminum ls3 and t56 to replace my all cast 355/700r4 and now my front end sits 2" higher than the back end. Before the front end would sit 2" lower than the back end.
So now i wanna bring the front end down 2" from where it was with the cast engine and bring the back end down to match.
I am running 245/40/18's all the way around but am gonna run some 275's in the back end now. I want the tires to be damn near flush with the fenders or have a very small gap. I hate the way it sits right now.
Whats everyone recommend?
Can i run springs from an ls1 car?
Whats everyone else do?
I know im not the first wanting to do this.

Yeah, I've been down this road

I ended up settling on some Moog 5658. It gave me a 2.5" wheel gap, and I plan to trim a 1/4 coil off to get it to about a 1" gap.

For good measure, I replaced the rear springs with Moog 5665. Trimmed to fit of course

found really good prices on amazon.com, with free shipping

Very common problem, even when doing a simple carbed 350 swap. Raised my front end by over an inch.

I used drop zones "tailored" on my car to get my "perfect" stance. But replacement Moogs trimmed are another good option.

Nothing wrong with trimming the springs, they are not progressive and taking a coil or two off has a negligible effect on the springs aside from length.

If you decide to lower the car its advisable to get aftermarket struts, extended strut mounts, adjustable panhard bar, and LCA relocation brackets.
