Lowered with 19s...... need some alignment specs please
As the title says, my 86 is lowered 2in all the way around. The front has Racecraft 2" drop spindles with Moog constant rate springs. I have 19x8 on the front corners and I need to get this thing in for an alignment. The stock specs are awful for our cars. Would anyone have any advice on how to set this thing up for a setup like mine? It's mostly street driven with aspirations of a road course event or two in the future. Thanks in advance.

Caster: +4.5/+5.0 (depending on how much you can get... go for as much as possible on the passenger side and half a degree less on the driver side, +4/+4.5 for example)
Camber: -1/-1
Toe: 3/32" for stock a-arm bushings, 0 if you're using del-alums or aftermarket a-arms with delrin bushings.

Caster- fully agree
Camber-He would get too much inside tire wear with 19's-why? the sidewall aspect is too low and the tire footprint is too rigid. Better off with about -0.7 each side.
same with toe- I would stay 3/32 in regardless or the car will start to get twicthy at higher speeds
Copchaser- search the forum on the Racecraft spindle failure. Better safe then sorry. members have had some serious issues with them.

Now as far as both of your toe recommendations are concerned, I have the stock a-arms with poly bushings. Should I still stick with the settings you mentioned?

Yup...
The direction things are pointed is largely independent of what they are made of.

We went as far as we could on caster(forgot the number) and at -.5 on camber. Much better than how it was...
We stayed 3/32 on the toe...
I'm lowered 3" or so(Sportlines) with adjustible camber/caster plates... 19x8 and 19x10

As I agree with the yup part, the rest of it is not the reason I suggest he stay 3/32". It is not independant of what things are made of, he needs to stay 3/32 because of teh material and makeup of the tire design is alot more ssnsitie to change and has less delfection in slip angle A larger aspect tire will give a little even in positive toe at high speed, the low profile will be all over the place in a straight line. It needs the slight toe in becasue it is far less forgiving. tire footprint quality will dominate setback
