Camaro vs Firebird springs

Can I modify Firebird springs which cause my Camaro to ride higher than the rear. I don't want to buy new ones as the taxes and shipping make it uneconomical.
I forgot to compare them when I fitted them.

Anyone know what the correct springs should be? It looks like it is sitting too high.
I have seen both 5608 and 5610 advertised for my '82 Z28. There is no air conditioning compressor although the rest is still there.
The vin is IGIAP8775CN156231

Re: Camaro vs Firebird springs

Did you reuse the big rubber spring isolators? You can take those out and use a piece of heater hose or electrical tape and synthetic grease on the top of the spring to bring the rear down a little while keeping some protection against corrosion/ road noise.

The rear is ok. It's the front that I want down but I get the point about the rubber. I did not know about them at the time. I had assumed that both Pontiac and Chevs were the same. Ebay sellers are no help either.
