founders performance suspension
founders performance suspension
Hello, I'm going to place an order on some parts. I'm looking at founders complete rear suspension. It will be a street car, but I want it to handle on a road course also. This car is not stock by any means. I'm looking at double adjustable for everything. Is it really worth it or will the normal non adjustable work just fine? I have umi adjustable torque arm, crossmember, and k member already.

adjustable is more like set it and forget it. in most cases adjustable is not necessary, you def want the adjustable PHB if your car is lowered, but you can prob just got with fixed lower control arms. also note the double adjustable PHB allows you to adjust on the car which is alot more convient
Re: founders performance suspension
I ordered there on car adjustable panhard bar with poly ends, panhard relocated bar, lower control arms with pivotal bushings, and lower control arm relocation brackets today

I went with adjustable for my Panhard since the car will be lowered on weight jacks. For my LCA's I just went with NON adjustable. The only times I see people adjusting LCA's is to center a 28" tire, which I dont plan on running.

If you have LCARBs they sometimes dont center perfectly. There's no good reference plane to mount those exactly exactly right. Using adjustable LCA's can help that. Also as the ride height lowers with or without LCA's, the axle will change it's fore/aft position in the wheel well depending on how the LCA is angled. Just depends. Adjustable LCA's will allow you to do a proper four wheel alignment also.
Most people it isnt necessary, but it's nice to have. For me I need them to recenter my axle from side to side as one side is farther forward in the car than the other.
