Rear LCA and Panhard Bar Delrin Bushings

I have found the globalwest front LCA del-a-lum bushing kit, and the front Afco kit, but I cannot find delrin bushings for the rear LCA's and panhard bar...

Anyone know where I can find some?

Re: Rear LCA and Panhard Bar Bushings

I doubt it.

Those stamped sheet-rubber parts are so weeeeeenie, that the act of attempting to press the stock bushings out, usually destroys them.

Much better idea to replace them outright with something that you can't bend with your bare hands. Kinda doesn't make sense to put solid bushings into something that itself isn't solid to begin with.

Re: Rear LCA and Panhard Bar Bushings

I have spohn tubular rear LCAs and panhard bar, tq arm, subframes, etc.

The poly crap in them isn't cutting it, I'm tired of greasing it to stop the squeeking and binding. If they dont exist I will make my own LCAs and PHB with some afcos but I'd rather save myself the headache

Wouldn't be too tough then, to call up yer local machine shop, and have em make you up something dimensionally appropriate to those other actual metal parts...

The reason no one makes them is that they would completely bind the suspension. Poly has poor multi axis support, as it lacks the pliability of rubber. The del alum bushings you're referring to have absolutely no multi axis support. They do rotation only. You need the twisting motion in the rear lca, as well as rotation. The PHB does also, but to a much lesser degree. Solutions to the problem that offer the same benefit already exist (rotojoints, johnny joints, etc.)
