If anyone could help me out it would be great. This weekend I started putting together the front suspension back together on my trans am. all went well until it came time to bolt the sway bar to the subframe. On the drivers side I only have one threaded hole when there should be 2... What am I missing?I've searched and searched and can't seem to find my answer.... Help
Got a pic? Did you pull off two bolts or one? Is it broken or stripped or just gone?
The car has been apart for a couple years so I don't really remember what hardware came out. I don't think the bolt snapped off when I took it off. in the pic I'm pointing to what looks like should be the 2nd bolt location.
It seems that you are missing the sway bar attaching bracket that I have outlined in black. This is from my V6 3.1L but I visually looked at my '91 305 TBI and it is similar. Also it seems that the previous bolts hole have been (jb) welded in preparation for drill and tapping. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Does the drivers side look the same? Does it have the same bracket?
