tilt steering pin
i need a tilt steering pin puller asap and everywhere near me has to order it and it takes almost 10 days to do so...my question is what size are the threads in the tilt pin so i can make my own? i have searched on here and have not found anything on what thread size...any help is very much appreciated thanks

I fabricated a machine screw into my slide hammer to pull the pin. I also made a real simple one at work with a machine screw and an old pair of vise grips. I welded a rod onto the vise grips and use a large wrist pin as the slide. A nut and washer at the end of the rod keeps the wrist pin from coming off. The vise grips simple grab the machine screw.
I can't remember the actual size of the machine screw. 8-32 or 10-32. I normally go through a few of them pulling the pin since the vise grip version doesn't pull straight and I usually bend the machine screw.

that's wild, they have basic ones on the shelf all over the place here, I paid I think 5$ for mine? been awhile but it was cheap and in stock.
