quick question on rear sway bar clamps

I'm removing the skinny rear sway bar on my base firebird and installing the 24mm bar.
I have new poly bushings and bushing brackets, but my kit didn't come with the U-clamps and brackets that clamp onto the rear-end.
The old ones on the car now are in excellent shape, and I can blast/prime/paint them and re-install, but since this is a 89 base Firebird, I was wondering if the larger rear sway bar firebirds came with beefier U-clamps/brackets.

Should I re-use what I have? or is there better ones I should use?
thanks!

The bushing are different sizes, but the U's are all the same. I'd reuse.

Re: quick question on rear sway bar clamps

For future reference, the rear sway bar bushing kit I sell comes with the u-bolts, saddles and bushing clamps. I also have the option of getting JUST the brackets, U-bolts & saddles if (as in the OP's case) you did not get them with the bushings you ordered. When I switched suppliers from Gulsdtrand to Energy Suspension my rear bushings now use the ES aftermarket brackets along with their bushings. If you need the GM rear sway bar brackets I still have plenty and can supply them instead if you need them.

thanks! I am going to go ahead and re-use mine, but I guess I should've ordered from you.
I ordered mine from hawks third gen and they didn't come with them.

Re: quick question on rear sway bar clamps

When comparing price it is also important to compare what you are getting for that price. Mine include the saddles, u-bolts, new nuts & washers in addition to what you get from other sites. As I mentioned before I have included options to delete the brackets, to delete the bushings, etc. also.
