Re: Founders Performance torque arm question
It's common practice to remove the torque arm mounting point from the transmission. It can break your trans housing if shocked hard enough. Get one that relocates the TA to the crossmember.

Re: Founders Performance torque arm question
I have one coming in the mail. My car is in pieces though and won't see the road for some time. I plan to buy a relocation cross member for it. I asked Founders if they were going to make a relocation cross member and they said they are, but it is going to be several months. I didn't ask them if it is for third gens or not though. I'm in no rush, if they don't have one available when the car is going together I'll buy one from someone else.

Re: Founders Performance torque arm question
I have one, but can't use it because I'm using the double hump crossmember for Long tube clearance with a T56. Thankfully I'll never be drag racing the car so it likely won't see those kind of loads on the tail-shaft.
