That's real speed. The track is smaller than it looks. Other than suspension, that car is still stock. And the suspension is the prototype pieces. The car belongs to Ridetech's owner Bret. I've asked them to get a representative signed up on the board to give better details on what they have developed and provide availability updates as the parts get close to release. My only issue with the initial product offering is the front a arms they ar building will only work with coilovers. They aren't initially releasing that piece with factory style spring pockets.
I'm really waiting to see if they can adapt their Instinct system to the thirdgen sytle strut. I expect there are some issues with the strut movement and how to put a speed sensor on the front wheels that will provide technical difficulties for it though. But a self adjusting suspension is an interesting concept.
Here's an aerial view of the track they are using.

I have nothing but respect for Ridetech's ability to build a solid suspension setup to control the car at any speed. I'm hoping we can get a rep onboard soon to start providing official details on the production pieces, release dates, and pricing.
And I'd love to see them build a car to go head to head with the DSE car to get an idea as to which setup is actually better.
The bracket that bolts to the spindle? If that's what you're getting at anything that will change scrub will also change track width.
Yes it would. BBK pushes it out some (.33 or so).
A little makes a big difference, AND, I've yet to pull the trigger on custom wheels. Just thinking ahead.
RideTech does an excellent job on sway bars and shocks. They still cost, but no where near JRi's. As noted, they have their own testing track! That means that they have the ability/data to measusre one platform's performance against another.
Hey Dean,
You must be packing your *** - LOL.
Hope all goes well.
I don't know anything about the video other than it was posted in Feb. I like the fact that the car is owned by Brett - the owner of RideTech. And their shocks/struts are manufactured by Fox.
Are you commenting on their products? OR just the video?

I went with real speed from having seen how small the track is. But Dean could be right. Bret has owned the car for several years. His oldest was driving it to high school last fall. If they put one of the main drivers like Smitty in the car, he might find a way to make it that fast without changing the engine. Not sure though. I sent the link to this thread to Bret so hopefully someone from the shop will chime in soon.
