I am having a shop weld up the TDS connectors. I received a call this afternoon from them stating they tacked them in and did a quick fitment check of the exhaust. They said the CAT got into the way and would have to be deleted or I would have to buy a smaller one. Being in California with their SMOG rules, I kind of need it. I called TDS and asked if the SFC required the removal or modification of the CAT. They told me it would fit with their SFC. I asked if they had a photo of one correctly installed. They did not. So here I am asking you guys that have them installed, can anyone provide a pic of theirs installed near the CAT? Thank you!
I have several pics of mine installed on a thread in the suspension forum. They fit perfectly without any modifications or cutting or trimming of heat shields, the cat or anything else.

I installed Alstons inners and UMI outers last week.
They definitely fit above the stock Cat.
However, the cat was like 1/8in above the alstons SFC.
I did have to heavily modfiy the alstons to fit well enough to Tig weld.
Super happy with the results.
Took it to the autocross the next day.
Almost beat my brothers Focus ST.

I have seen much, much, worse welds on a car. Nothing beats someone using a 110 box welding dirty metal using too low amperage. Curious as to why you chose to tig over mig, not that its wrong.

I do aerospace Tig welding on f35 and f22 parts.
(Usual low amps. 7-10A)
so it's what I'm familiar with
ive never even used a MIG machine.

He has more experience with higher AMP
No undercut, and just a slightly cold on the right side. But thats just being picky on what this is for. Welding this in place with the tight fitment with TIG would be a huge pain.
I prefer MIG. I hate when you're on a good weld and run with TIG or gas and run out of filler. I have burned up more than a few Tillman gloves burning rod to the nub lol

I'm probably gonna go back and weld a few spots we missed then reweld over a few spots
we got full penetration on the chassis, so it's not gonna break.
I also forgot the little bar UMI supplies with the SFC
we ran out of time at a self service garage the 1st time.
I'm also entertaining the idea of welding the pinch welds to the SFC. I Autocross now so any added stiffness works to my advantage.
