Founders Performance Is Celebrating

Founders Performance is celebrating the beginning of our 6th year in business. With our celebration we are going to offer 1 week of free shipping starting immediately for our great customers. Don't wait for this to end and take advantage of our already crazy low prices now with free shipping until midnight September 18th. Offer is only to the lower 48 states and includes everything on our site.

Agreed. Would love a set of LCARBs, but the shipping essentially doubles the price.

I'm sure they think about Canada - we have sent quite a few sets of wheels there - just need to file some extra paperwork and the end buyer needs to pay some tariffs.

If your not too too far from the boarder, (Hamilton isn't too bad) have it sent to a US address, like a UPS Store, and drive down and get it. Free shipping, cheap price (with exchange, shop for prices) and you only pay the tax on the value at customs. It's worth the drive down and back for what $ you can save.

USPS is the best way to ship to Canada. They don't hose you and charge 2x the duty like FEDEX and UPS do.

Re: Founders Performance Is Celebrating

We are currently in talks with FedEx about special pricing to Canada that will include all customs fees. For now the best option is USPS for our Canada customers.

Re: Founders Performance Is Celebrating

Chances are, USPS will always be cheapest for us Canucks, over years of buying parts and having them shipped UPS (the absolute worst for hosing us... guess that makes us the hosers), FedEx, DHL (actually a very good experience, no extra fees at the door etc) and USPS, I will always choose USPS... I've declined getting parts I actually need because the vendor won't help us out and will only use UPS or FedEx... A site sponsor here is one of the very few places for the windshield trim and I would be paying way too much to justify getting the correct part. The price on the site is great, it's the shipping and their unwillingness to help us out that lost the sale... We also have a crappy exchange rate at the moment.

That said, I'll be putting in a big order to you guys hopefully over the winter!

Sounds like a lazy vendor that either makes enough money to not care or won't be around long.

Re: Founders Performance Is Celebrating

Unless I misread....wasn't UMI's post HELPING, or at the very least offering a solution to Founders? The very spirit of what we try to cultivate here? Certainly not crashing.

I had read the UMI post and thought it was 100% aimed at helping.
No idea what happened since I saw it.

Do I need a promo code to get free shipping via the internet or do we have to call for the deal?

No promo code needed. Keep in mind this ends Sunday night so get your orders placed before it goes back up.

Re: Founders Performance Is Celebrating

Well it's quoting me for shipping on the website when I put my zip code in. I'm located in Ohio, so figured it would come up as $0.

Re: Founders Performance Is Celebrating

Hmm, I just put in a Cincinnati zip code and I got 3 shipping quote back. One was free and the others were FedEx and UPS. Try refreshing your browser with pressing the alt key and refresh at the same time. If that doesn't work give us a call and we can take your order over the phone.

We have found that USPS is usually the best bet for shipping to Europe. If you want a FedEx quote you can always email us to get one.

What are the odds you guys might celebrate your 7th year in business in similar fashion? Missed the opportunity a year ago, and would love to get a few extra components under my car! Either way, great job guys!

Re: Founders Performance Is Celebrating

Dang I pulled the trigger too soon. Just ordered the adjustable panhard bar, LCARBS and LCAs with 3 piece poly bushings a little over a week ago. The 3 piece bushings were missing though unfortunately and hopefully they will be on their way soon. I might pick up the solid strut mounts sometime too.

Are the lcas part number 23811 compatible from 82-02? Everytime I navigate the website, I select 82-92 suspension parts, and when I click the actual item it reverts to 93-02.

Sorry but with our already screaming low prices we aren't doing anything.

Yes part number 23811 is good for all 82-02 cars.
