Maximum Camber/Caster

Doing an alignment today, getting ready for a track day this weekend. Just put new shocks, bushings and ball joints. But even at max adjustment for Caster and Camber I’m barely able to get any negative Camber. What’s the most you guys have been able to get without cutting the hole in the upper body structure? The shock is almost rubbing mine on the inside edge. Do the aftermarket camber plates help? If so, by how much?

Re: Maximum Camber/Caster

You could go eccentric/notched lower control arm bolts, that would be the easiest way to go about It I would think. Additionally, did you tighten the control arm bolts while under load or while in the air? I have seen this throw off camber measurements a few times, I leave the lower control arm bolts loose until the vehicle weight is on the tires then snug them down to avoid preload on the bushing, which will alter ride height and camber.
