What’s a good middle of the road company to use for suspension parts
Redoing suspension on 87 convertible t/a I hear a lot of people say hotchkis is best if your not putting back gm parts. Little pricey for me with all the other work I need. Suggestion for company not that expensive but parts will suit up w car and work well

Hotchkiss doesn't offer much for these cars. The popular brands here are UMI performance, and founders on a tight budget. I've dealt with UMI for years and they are top notch guys and have an excellent offering.

I have umi on 2 cars and founders on another. I notice no difference other than price.

Founders has good stuff. I have their rear arms and panhard along with the strut mounts. Using UMI for the subframe connectors after 3 years of track days and they are all holding up well.

UMI and Founders. I would choose UMI over any brand of suspension for Thirdgen. Detroit Speed may be the new and cool kid on the block but UMI's customer service is too good to pass up. If you have a problem they take it upon themselves to correct it or help you. What they did for me last year made me a lifetime customer. They also have a frequent presence on these boards which also tells you something.
