Subframe Connector Identification
These look like Spohn SFCs to me. The listing mentions them being for a convertible, but since Spohn's website shows an identical picture for both versions, I can't tell which one it is. I'll likely pick them up tomorrow regardless. Do convertible model SFCs just have some smaller pieces around where the reinforcements are? I'm curious if they will fit my TTA with a larger downpipe/exhaust.

They look like the ones I put on my '92. That's one hell of a deal at that price. Nice score.

Yes, the price was too good to pass up. I talked to him and he said the convertible part of the listing was a mistake so good chance they are the hardtop/t-top versions.

Just as an update, since I have never seen SFCs in person before, these things are bigger and heavier than I thought they would be. I can see why they are so popular as they will add significant strength to the unibody.

The difference between the convertible SFC's and the regular ones are slight. The convertible cars have a factory 'SFC' that the Spohn piece has to fit around. I believe you can still use the convertible piece on a hardtop or ttop car, but the bar may not touch the pinch weld
