I have all sorts of trouble with speedbumps and driveways...I have a two inch drop, and the cats are about 2 inches off the ground or so...their what take a beating, I have yet to scrape the body.
Mine is lowered as well and the CAT is getting flogged. When it goes i'm terrified at the cost of getting a replacement over here.
Don can you do me a favour and measure your clearance at the front spoiler and at the rear wheel arc. I don't know how far the coils have been cut and want to see how far up it will go if i put standards back in.
Rough to drive but does handle like a demon.

I have lowered my Camaro with Eibach Sportline springs and Koni shocks and struts. The rear LCAs and panhard rod have been replaced with Hotchkis pieces. The front end, front sway bar and rear swaybar have all been wrapped in polygraphite from P-S-T. It handles TIGHT just the way I like it. You can induce throttle oversteer when desired.
FORGET the air kits .. unless you like the truckin' look :\ .. check out ground control for weight jacks .. 4" of adjustment .. keep in mind your alignment will CHANGE with height adjustments ...unless you spend some money on tightening up the bump steer ... which the closest I've heard of is .060 movement in 4 inches of suspension travel
EspIrocZ- I love your car! How does the koni/eibach combo work out?
Everbody- Do not cut your springs! Or heat them for that matter. The spring rate will be all screwy, they will burn you shock, cat and anything hanging down. It is not hard or expensive to get a quality set of springs.
PS- Are the Edelbrock springs Eibachs?

my 1987 Had lowering springs and large front sway and a solid mount rear sway....unknow type tho...they were red so they were not cut springs.....Now i have my 88 IROC and it handles better and it is not lowered....The only aftermarket thing is the panhard bar. I dunno, mayeb it is just in better condition.....lowered was just too much around here tho....we are in the foot hills of the mountains.

CustomX,
Yeah the rear sits about 3/4 - 1" higher than I would have liked it to sit. I was pondering that one day. Thought the way I installed the springs on the mounts on the axle might affect overall height. Thought if I turned them 180 degrees maybe they might sit diffrently on the mount and a little lower. Haven't tried that yet so it might just be wishfull thinking.
GreenProStreet,
The Eibach and Koni combo works very well. My Iroc handles so good I make excuses to go drive it. Sometimes on lunch break from work I will just go drive, and carve as many corners as I can. With the Eibachs, Konis and Yokohamas I have no fear of running it down into a Cloverleaf at 70 mph, and thats not even pushing it.
